- ✦Hair should be at least ¼ inch long (about 2–3 weeks of growth)
- ✦Exfoliate gently 1–2 days before (not the day of)
- ✦Avoid retinoids and exfoliating acids for 3–5 days before
- ✦Skip caffeine right before if you're sensitive to pain
- ✦Come with clean, product-free skin in the wax area
After Your Wax
Aftercare
- ✦Avoid heat — no saunas, hot tubs, or intense workouts for 24 hours
- ✦Skip tight clothing on freshly waxed areas
- ✦Don't touch or pick at the area
- ✦Exfoliate gently starting 3 days after to prevent ingrowns
- ✦Apply SPF to any waxed areas exposed to sun
