Booking terms

The few rules that keep the day running

Plain terms for booking and visiting Rocky Mountain Skin. Last updated 9 September 2026.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Life happens. Reschedule or cancel with as much notice as you can, and there is no fee. If last-minute cancellations become a habit, Jake stops holding time for you. That is the whole policy.

New clients

If this is your first visit, book a facial or a consultation. Your skin is assessed before any treatment plan is recommended.

Advanced treatments

Microneedling and laser hair reduction begin with a consultation to review your skin history, discuss realistic expectations, and confirm you are a good candidate before treatment is scheduled. Advanced services performed at Paul Mitchell The School run on select weekends and follow the school's policies as well.

Health and consent

Every treatment starts with an intake. Tell us about medications (including isotretinoin), pregnancy or nursing, recent procedures, cold sores and allergies. A treatment may be declined or changed for your safety; that is always the right call, and there is no charge for it.

Payment

All major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, Apple Pay and cash are accepted. Itemized receipts are available for HSA/FSA submissions on qualifying treatments.

Gift cards, memberships and rewards

Gift cards are digital and redeemable against any service. Memberships and the rewards program follow the terms on their own pages: gift cards, memberships, rewards.

House calls

House calls are booked by request and include travel within the area described on the house calls page.

Text messages

Rocky Mountain Skin runs a text programme for clients who ask for it. You opt in by ticking the consent box on our intake form and giving us your mobile number. It is optional, and it is never a condition of booking, being treated, or anything else.

What you get: a check-in two or three days after a treatment, an occasional request for feedback or a review, and check-ins at one, two and four weeks after you start a new product. Message frequency varies with how often you come in. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message and we stop, straight away. Reply HELP, or email jake@rockymtnskin.com, for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. How we handle what you tell us is covered in our Privacy Policy.
