How we handle your information

What we collect

• Booking. When you book through Square, Square collects your name, contact details, appointment details and payment. Square's own privacy policy governs that data; we see what we need to run your appointment.
• Forms on this site. The guide form asks for your first name and email so we can send you the guide. Submissions are stored by Netlify, our website host, and emailed to us.
• Messages. Emails, texts and calls you send us, so we can answer them.
• Site analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking. They set cookies that measure visits and bookings in aggregate. We do not see who you are from these tools.

Health information

Before certain treatments we ask about your skin history, medications, pregnancy and conditions that affect what is safe for you. Intake and consent forms are collected in the studio and kept in our client records. They are used only for your care, kept confidential, and shared only with your permission or where the law requires it.

How we use it

• To run your appointments and follow up on your care.
• To send you what you asked for, such as the aftercare guide.
• To understand which pages and ads bring people to the studio.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not send marketing to your email or phone without asking you first.

Your choices

• Ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete what we are not required to keep. Email jake@rockymtnskin.com.
• Block analytics cookies in your browser, or use Google's opt-out add-on.
• Unsubscribe from any email we send using the link in it, or by replying.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and tick the consent box on our intake form, Rocky Mountain Skin may text you about your care. That means a check-in a few days after a treatment, an occasional request for feedback or a review, and check-ins after you start a new product. Saying yes to texts is never a condition of booking or being treated, and you can submit the form without it.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. Replies come straight to Jake.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your consent to texts is not shared with anyone. We use Twilio to deliver the messages, and they process them on our behalf only.

How long we keep it

Client records are kept for as long as Utah cosmetology rules and our insurer require. Form submissions and messages are deleted when they are no longer needed.
